Not every proposal needs red. For Lilly, Marco chose the White Elegance set-up - white roses along the glass balustrade, white curtains moving in the sea breeze, warm bulbs hanging over the terrace, and the deep blue of the caldera doing the rest. When she turned around and understood what was happening, a ship was passing behind them like it had been booked for the backdrop.
Two hours at AION in early July: the question, the happy tears, champagne with the water right there below the terrace.
Afterwards the photographer took them a few steps along the old port itself - boats, the caldera cliffs stacked with houses above, the evening sun on the water. It is the walk every AION couple gets to take, and the photos always look like a film still.
